Oh yeah, there was that time that I wrote an article to Jenna Kutcher in her local newspaper in Minnesota.
For those of you who don’t know, Jenna Kutcher is an online marketing expert who has a popular blog and podcast called ‘The Goal Digger.’ For a year prior to launching my business I religiously listened and devoured Jenna’s episodes one by one, learning, growing and gaining courage.
I felt so indebted to her as I was finally launching my business that I wanted to say ‘thank you’ in a way that she would hear. Not an IG DM or an email to her support team … that’s when I decided to write her an article.
And guess what? Jenna did see it, and so did her mother and I’m sure her entire family. Both Jenna and her Mom wrote to me to tell me how much they loved the words I had written. 🥰

“You should check out the Goal Digger Podcast by Jenna Kutcher,” my friend said in passing about a year ago. Little did I know how much the suggestion would literally change my course for the next 12 months.
While driving to the cabin last summer, I decided to pop on the podcast produced by Jenna, a Northeastern Minnesota native who recently moved back to Duluth. Well, the 2½-hour drive north never went by so quickly — even though I had to pull over a few times to jot down notes of things I didn’t want to forget. I was officially hooked.
