It is so important to have meaningful and quality photography for your business, brand, and products.
I have been working on photoshoots for close to a decade with a professional photographer, Jim Craigmyle, and I have learned a thing or two.
I know, I hear all of you saying:
“But photographers are EXPENSIVE, and I’m just starting out.”
… and then you take a bad selfie, stick it up on your business page and wonder why no one is buying from you 😆
I am here to tell you that professional photography CAN be affordable and to let you in on a few money-saving tips to cut your cost into fractions.
DO YOUR HOMEWORK:
First off, do a bit of research and ask around as to who knows a photographer, where they are located and what types of things they take pictures of. Ask to see their social account or website so that you can get a feel for if their style and ability jives with what you are looking for. Compare prices and packages. If a photographer is local or just starting out, their price will likely be lower.
INVITE FRIENDS
The next big way to save tons of $$$$$$ is to have a group photoshoot with a few friends.
It’s more fun, you can help fix each other’s hair and you can swap in and out cool accessories and clothes (if you like your besties shirt better than what you picked out). AND the photographer can get a shot of you interacting with one another that could double as a business picture where your friends are your ‘pretend’ clients.
See the picture on this post? My friend Elise and I hamming it up at our photoshoot. We used her beautiful home, gave each other tips and confidence, and were definitely more relaxed knowing we were among friends.
So what are you waiting for?
